We have a State of The Art Dental Laboratory with In-House CADD/CAM Technology which means we have full control of the design and materials used to make the most reliable restorations possible.

TE RANGI DEVINE

Te Rangi started working for his parents in 2005 to see whether Dental Technology was the right career for him. It didn't take him long to realise his passion for this industry. In 2008 he completed a Diploma of Dental Technology
at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. After
qualifying, Te Rangi felt it was important to see how other laboratories operated and to gain as much experience as possible. He had the pleasure of working at several great laboratories in New Zealand
In 2015 he moved to London, UK to broaden his experiences. In his 4 years in the UK he was fortunate enough to work in the oldest laboratory in London and with two Key Opinion Leaders for Ivoclar Vivadent, a world-leading dental company. He worked with and was trained by some of the best technicians from around the world and this has set the bar to which he strives to surpass.
Now returning to the family business and establishing it as a new entity, Devine Smile Design, he brings a new energy that incorporates modern dental technology and the great traditional techniques he has learnt from some of the world's best.
SHARON DEVINE
Practice Manager & CAD/CAMM Operator
Sharon has been “taking care of business” in dental laboratories since 1994. As director, her absolute focus is on “taking care of customers”. This means responding quickly to clients’ requests by ensuring the team has the tools and materials available to do so and by meeting appointment dates.
Since 1996, she has also been responsible for the CADD/CAM arm of the business. Essentially, she does the scanning in preparation for the technicians to design the digital restorations, but she’s also had to learn a lot about the software to assist the technicians to problem solve the myriad of issues that arise.
She loves her role. It is such a busy and varied one that she doesn’t get a chance to get bored. She notes that she learns something new almost every day.
ANDREW DEVINE
Clinical Dental Technician and Implant Specialist
CDT, BHSc, PGDipCDTech
Andrew is as passionate and driven today about dental technology as he was over forty years ago when he started his career. To ensure he delivers the best he can, he has continued to develop his skills through education and application. Initially this was in the areas of occlusion and dental ceramics. Later he took a keen interest in implantology and in more recent times Clinical Dental Technology, particularly Physiological Prostheses and then in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is a great believer in sharing information, so along with attending courses, nationally and internationally he also runs courses throughout Australasia.
His focus in this new enterprise, Devine Smile Design, is on clinical dental prostheses and implantology. He also sees his role as a support person, "someone to talk to". With years of experience, he believes he can be of great assistance to Te Rangi and Sharon in their new venture.
